Juan Carlos Heaton Alfaro has a Degree in Biology from the San Cristóbal of Huamanga National University (Peru).
He has 18 years of experience in conservation affairs at the National Protected Natural Areas Service throughout Peru. He worked as Head of the Paracas National Park, specializing in tourism management, harnessing natural resources, participatory management, public investment project development, public use and environmental education.
