Edna Rocío Castañeda (Colombia) is an agroecological engineer from the University of the Amazon (Colombia).
For eight years, she worked as a warden in the Alto Fragua Indi Wasi National Park in Colombia to coordinate the Sustainable Systems for Conservation Strategy. Subsequently, she was also responsible for supporting the plan’s management, sustainable systems, environmental education and research processes as a specialized professional. She currently forms part of the local NGO called CORDESPA.
As part of her master’s degree, she completed an internship at the Fuerteventura Island Biosphere Reserve in the Canary Islands.
