DESCRIPTION
This research project, begun in 2004, seeks to advance our knowledge of the reproductive biology of South American felines and to develop reproductive biotechnologies that can help preserve their genetic diversity in both wild and captive populations. In this second phase, priority will go to strengthening the interaction between the research groups participating in the first phase, taking the project into new geographical zones of Argentina and other Latin American countries, and extending fieldwork to feline populations living in the wild.
