DESCRIPTION
The aim of the project is to integrate this data and digitalise its varied sources in order to encourage its use by the scientific community, the public authorities, companies engaging in environmental management and the public at large. The research-management database will bring together information on the physical medium, seasonal population censuses, the first sightings of winter and summer birds, the distribution of sensitive species and its variation over time, feeding, reproductive parameters, survival, migration and dispersion. The environmental education side will comprise basic details about Doñana plus a number of virtual itineraries: seasonal, taking in the most emblematic features of the four seasons in Doñana, and spatial, a journey through the Park’s different ecosystems. Both types of itinerary will be enlivened by photographs of Park landscapes, fauna and flora, as well as soundscapes and explanatory details.
